HUDSON ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB STUDENT ATHLETE SCHOLARSHIP
The Hudson Athletic Booster Club sponsors two Senior Scholarship Awards of $2000 each for one female and one male student athlete each year. Awards to the student athlete are consistent with Hudson's goals of excellence in the classroom and on the field.
The Hudson Athletic Booster Club Selection Committee determines the winners of the Hudson Athletic Booster Club Scholarship. Student Athletes of HABC Board members are encouraged to apply, but the member-parent will not be a member of the Selection Committee.
Scholarship Award — Minimum Qualifications
High School Senior having been enrolled for at least one full year at Hudson High School
Minimum GPA of 3.25 through 3rd quarter Senior year
One varsity letter earned during senior year (spring sports based on coach’s assessment)
Submission of a one (1) page essay describing how your experience as a student athlete at Hudson High School has better enabled you to excel in the classroom and helped to prepare you for college and beyond.
Applications will be scored on athletic participation, athletic achievement, academic achievement, and essay submission. The applications from the male and female student athletes with the highest score will each be awarded a $2000 scholarship to the college of their choice.
